Historical Background
Up Skill Academy was founded in january 2025 in Maungani Vijijini Zanzibar with a vision to provide quality education and holistic growth for children. At its inception, the school started with 13 staff members, 6 teachers, 2 madrasa teachers,1 driver, 2 kitchen staff,2 cleaners and 40 students.
Within just two months, the school recognized the growing need for psychological support and guidance, and a proffessional school counselor was appointed, bringing the total staff to 14 dedicated members.
As we countinue to grow, we are excited to announce that lower Primary classes will begin next year,further expanding our commitment to nurturing and educating young learners.
From the very beginning, Up Skill Academy has been dedicated to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.
